Where your money goes
You Deserve a Line Item, Not a Black Box.
Most charities have to spend a large share of their budget buying food. We don't. Ours is rescued from retailers who would otherwise discard it. That changes the maths, and it means we can show you the whole of it.
Without the rescue, this food would have gone to landfill. Your dollar isn't buying a meal. It is intercepting waste before it happens.

Every honest question a first-time donor asks, answered plainly.
Diesel, vehicles, electricity, kitchen supplies, and the people called to this work. The food is donated, so not one cent of your giving buys food. About $4,175 a month covers the whole operation.
Yes. About $4,175 in monthly operations ÷ 30 days ÷ 1,000+ daily meals = $0.14 per meal. The food is free because retailers donate it.
Yes. Monthly is pre-selected because it is more sustainable for the mission, but a once-off donation is always welcome.
31 years of relationships with major retailers aren't easy to replace. If supply tightens, we tighten: fewer kitchens, fewer meals, never zero. The model has survived Covid, the 2021 riots, the 2022 floods, and the 2024 tornado.
